A Day In The Life Of Crazy: so much for that massage...

This week has been a roller coaster!

Monday was stressful as I ran around trying to get everything ready like a chicken with it’s head cut off. Finally, I pack, go to class and after class, I give blood. For the first time in a long time, I did not faint when I gave blood. I did not even feel…

You just gotta remember that God will never give you more than you can handle. That’s what usually keeps me from worrying about things I can’t control. Just know that I’m praying for you, and thinking of you always.

On a less somber note, I’m so glad that you’re having fun on your trip right now. It sounds awesome! I’ve only been to Savannah fleetingly in the past, so it’s cool to hear of everything that’s there. Do be careful bar-hopping, but not too careful! Have fun, and you can tell me everything when you get back. Especially about that spa treatment. Never had a massage before, so I bet that was a unique experience. I miss you, and hope to see you soon.

And I’m sorry for not answering your call on…Tuesday, I think it was? I’d been trying to get the Add Airtime option put back on my phone, and their online support was taking forever, so I had just about no minutes on my phone. But everything’s fixed now! :D Hemingway, I miss you, son, but you go have fun now! >:D

Went shopping with Amber today

It was very, very nice, and we had a great time! Although, I didn’t exactly get much, it was still worth the drive up there to the actual place.

So let’s see:

Got my BessGewdFrann’s Birthday gift (finally): check!

Got my BessGewdFrann’s Christmas gift: check!

Let Amber play dress-up with me with some skirts: not exactly planned, but check!

Buy some black, lace-up, knee-length boots: huge. epic. failure.

Honestly, I’m quite depressed right now about these boots. I found them at Traffic, and they were absolutely perfect. They were made out of the material I wanted, had a decent, but not too back-breaking of a heel, they laced up, they could fit around my bloody mountain calves WITH my jeans tucked in, AND they were the perfect fit! The problem: they only came in brown and beige. Even after we returned to the store, and miraculously, a black sample of these same boots showed up, when I asked the worker there about getting them a size up (aka the size I needed), she looked at them like she’d never seen them in her life before. And naturally, no, they did not have them in an eight. I am so sad. I mean, yeah, I could have gotten the brown ones, but then, what the hell would I have worn them with? Most of my wardrobe is black shirts and blue jeans. Bloody hell. F my life. Forever alone. 

I’m hoping I can find the same pair of black ones at the Traffic store that is closest to me, but they don’t even have these boots that I’m talking about on their website (though, honestly, they don’t have much on their website at all. Barely anything that I saw in their actual store…). So maybe all hope isn’t lost yet…
